Mile High Farmers Seed Library

Our Seed Library was started in February 2023 at the Annual Producers Summit as initiative of the Education & Wellness Committee. Organized throughout the spring, the Library is meant to serve as a valuable resource for our local farming community. This seed bank acts as a repository of diverse and regionally adapted seeds, carefully collected and preserved by dedicated farmers. It aims to provide a crucial safeguard against crop losses, climate challenges, and supports the preservation of heirloom varieties. The Mile High Farmers Seed Library not only helps farmers access high-quality seeds but also promotes biodiversity and the sustainability of our local agricultural practices.

The Education and Wellness Committee is in the process of developing a system of seed exchanging and knowledge sharing among farmers. For more information, to provide/access seeds, and/or to share your ideas, please contact Education & Wellness Committee Chairs Jon & Yy
